Description
I initially delved into the practice of Yoga Nidra during my residency at an ashram in northern India, where the esteemed founder of Yoga Nidra, Swami Satyananda Saraswati, spent his final days. It was a remarkable privilege to receive instruction in Yoga Nidra from the venerable Swamis of this ancient tradition.
Upon my return to the United States, I embarked on sharing the transformative power of Yoga Nidra by creating meditation sessions on YouTube, garnering over 14 million views.
With over 16 years of personal practice and leadership in Yoga Nidra, I’ve embarked on teaching my unique approach and insights into this profoundly beneficial form of meditation accessible to all.
In a well-conducted Yoga Nidra session, each participant receives precisely what they need, guided by a skilled facilitator. This course not only imparts a comprehensive theoretical understanding of Yoga Nidra but also provides practical tools through assignments, such as crafting your scripts.
Yoga Nidra serves as a systematic journey inward, gradually leading from the external to the subtle aspects of one’s being, facilitating deep relaxation, stillness, and inner silence. Within this silence lies the potential for profound therapeutic relief and an encounter with one’s innate qualities like bliss, joy, and serenity.
I’ll personally guide you in crafting your own scripts, developing themes, and providing sample sessions tailored for facilitators, along with additional resources for your success.
You’ll gain proficiency in crafting Yoga Nidra sessions suitable for beginners, intermediates, and advanced practitioners, as well as creating series focused on specialized topics like chakras or pranic healing.
Furthermore, I’ll share my insights gleaned from over a decade of producing meditations on YouTube, including tips on cultivating an engaging voice, pacing instructions effectively, and integrating ‘essential silence’ into your scripts to enhance the meditative experience.
I look forward to greeting you inside!
Hari Om,
Devatma Saraswati
