Description

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to enjoy the fruits of a daily practice of meditation?

Within you is an unlimited source of bliss, peace and joy! These qualities are your own true nature and therefore do not have to be acquired, but only realized. The practice of meditation is the process of cultivating awareness towards recognizing your Inner Truth.

The various limbs and practices of yoga are first and foremost to enrich your personal daily practice of meditation. These outer techniques such as asana, pranayama, mudra and bandha are merely the limbs, but meditation is the body. With a daily personal practice of meditation, all the other components of the path make more sense and are more easily integrated together.

The inner wealth of Atman is the only true wealth. All external forms of wealth can always be lost, but the imperishable and unalloyed bliss of Atman is always you, even if you’re not currently aware of it! The majority of our practice of meditation is developing that heightened awareness – to minimize the distractions so the light of Self can come shining through.

Beginning a personal practice of meditation can seem daunting, at first. Fortunately we have the incredibly ancient system of yoga here to guide us and give us a few shortcuts in our journey. We don’t have to reinvent the wheel! In this workshop you learn the various limbs of Hatha and Raja Yoga and how each component relates to reinforcing your personal daily practice of meditation.

By the end of this workshop you enjoy a new found love for meditation, as well as many new techniques and understandings for empowering you to continue deepening your own inner experiences.
