Even meditation comes easier as a result of your newly found appreciation for life. In fact every area of your life, and all relationships, are improved as a result of the improved ‘here and now’ awareness that is developed as a result of this practice.
In this four-week workshop you learn that it is only our ignorance and falsehoods that die, but that which we truly are remains unscathed. Meditating on death helps you become established in your highest truth, and develops indifference towards the inevitable transitions that are a part of life, death and rebirth .
“As a person sheds worn-out garments and wears new ones, likewise, at the time of death, the soul casts off its worn-out body and enters a new one.” Bagavad Gita 2:22
Yoga teaches that we have three bodies (the gross, subtle and causal), however it is only the gross body that dies. Overcoming your attachments to the temporal physical body, and transcending all mortal fear in the process, brings about a life transforming spiritual rebirth!
Consider how much of your life has been limited by fear. We are often stunted and held back from our greatness by our own fears and inhibitions. Now imagine what living a life totally free from the illusion of fear would allow you to experience and enjoy! That is the purpose of this training!
